    Clear coat runs about 35 to 50 microns, roughly half the thickness of a dollar bill. A single trapped particle can scratch it on contact.

    Plush Isn't Just About Feel

    Pile and weave affect how a towel handles residue. More GSM alone cannot make a dirty towel safe; match the weave to the job and inspect it first.
