    Find The Leak Before You Disinfect

    Run the AC on max cold: if the smell spikes, that's the evaporator. Check the cabin filter and drain tube too. No product fixes mold that a moisture source keeps feeding.

    Mold behind seatbelt plastic or seat foam is a real health hazard, not just cosmetic. Reddit's own detailers said the same: pull the trim, use a sporicide, or call someone certified for mold remediation.
